On the morning of Oct 31, everyone is up and excited about the amazing Halloween they are going to have.
The kids get to wear their costumes to school
and even most of the grownups are wearing costumes today!!

SuperJoe is excited too, he is so excited that he is.... he is... WHAT???
He is still asleep, snoring away upstairs in the firehall!!!
The Firemen Clowns and the members of SuperJoe's band
are not very happy with his loud snoring!!!

But wait..... someone is calling the Magic Phone!!!
There must be a problem at the Moose Factory Public School!!! Everyone jumps into action!

The Firemen clowns start pulling on the rope,
ringing the large silver bell in the firehall's tower.
SuperJoe leaps from his bed in his long yellow underwear
and lands in his red jacket , pants and boots!!

The band slides down the pole through the roof of the
COOL BUS!!

Off it goes to the school!!!

It is recess and all the kids are playing in their costumes in the schoolyard but the school teacher is waiting in the driveway as the bus pulls up.

"What's wrong??", SuperJoe asks as the teacher walks up
to the bus.

"Oh, some of the big kids have been picking on the other kids, SuperJoe".

"Well, what are they doing to them?" asks SuperJoe.

"They are walking through the sandbox and wrecking their games and just acting like big bullies!!"

"Well you tell all the kids to come over to the bus 'cause we've got a brand new song for them that just might solve this problem."

As the teacher goes to gather the children from the school yard, the side of Super Joe's bus folds out to reveal a stage complete with guitar amps, keyboards, drums and mic stands!!

SUPERJOE performs ONE GOOD DEED and by the end of the song all the kids are singing "ROUND and ROUND and ROUND" together!!

The school bell rings, recess is over, the kids go inside and the Cool Bus returns to the firehall where the big bay doors close behind them.

It is still Halloween day and all the kids are playing outside during noon hour in their costumes.

All of a sudden, some of the kids come running up to the teacher in the hall screaming at the top of their lungs!!!

"Teacher Teacher, help, Cat's stuck in a tree, the Bear's stuck in a fence and the Skunk is stuck in the road. please help help"!!!!

"Children Children, don't worry now I'll call someone to help us!!"

The Magic Phone rings in the firehall just as Superjoe and his band arrive in the Cool Bus.

He picks up the phone and talks to the teacher.

"Uh, huh... Uh, huh... really???... in a tree???... what fence???... the school fence???... in the middle of the road???..."

SuperJoe hangs up the phone and yells "This sounds like a job for the Fireman Clowns!!!!".

The Firemen Clowns, who are all busy ringing the bell, (actually they are more busy hanging on to the rope as it pulls them up and down), immediately stop what they are doing and look at SuperJoe.

"Okay boys, there's trouble at the school yard. Get down there and sort them out right away!! "

The band is on the Cool Bus stage getting ready to start a song.

As the "FIREMAN CLOWNS" song starts, the Fireman Clowns jump in their miniature firetruck and off they go!!!

As they are pulling up to the school, one firemen puts out his hand and picks up Stinky Skunk who is sat in the middle of the road crying. He dries his tears and Stinky's frown turns upside down.

The truck stops at the school and the Fireman Clowns run a ladder over to the tree. With one Fireman Clown on each end running with the ladder held high and the shortest clown running  in the middle trying to reach it, well you can imagine the funny scene!!

They put the ladder on the tree where TIGER SID is sitting on the first branch with a sad face.One fireman holds the ladder, the other goes up the ladder while the shortest runs around with his arms out as if to catch TIGER SID.

TIGER SID laughs, jumps to the ground on all fours and chases the short fireman around and around the tree.

Over by the road, SHY BEAR is stuck in a hole in the fence.
A firemen clown ties  the firehose around his waist and holds on to SHY BEAR'S hands.

The firetruck starts pulling away yanking on the fireman clown until he lets go and goes flying in the air with the firehose still tied to his waist.

SHY BEAR laughs so hard that she gets out of the fence by herself.

The school bell rings and all the kids run back inside.

The firetruck roars off and pulls into the firehall just as the SuperJoe band is finishing the song on the Cool Bus stage.

The big bay doors close behind them.

It is the end of the school day on Halloween and all the kids are in class with the teacher.

The teacher is telling the kids to be careful when they go out trick or treating and she notices that two of the kids don't have costumes on.

She asks them why they aren't wearing any and they both shrug their shoulders and say "I Dunno".

"Well let me see" she says as she opens the classroom closet and takes out two hockey uniforms, one red and one blue.

"Would you like to wear these?" she asks as both kids start jumping up and down saying YES!! Yes!!!

"I wanna wear the red one!", shouts the girl.

"I wanna wear the red one!", shouts the boy.

"Now you can't both be red", says the teacher.

The boy shrugs his shoulders, obviously upset. The girl has a big smile.

"Fine, I'll be blue then", says the boy.

Girl stops smiling and says "I wanna be blue!!"

"Now, now" says the teacher, you can't both be blue either!!"

Then a lightbulb appears over the teacher's head as she gets an idea!

"Now wait a minute, I've got some scissors and a needle and thread in my office, I can fix this problem."

Just then the school bell rings and all the kids start cheering and heading out the classroom door.

The teacher yells above the noise.....

"Don't forget SUPER JOE is walking some of you home, be sure to listen to what he has to say!!!"

Song ALWAYS LOOK BOTH WAYS starts.

Super Joe walks home Stinky Skunk, Shy Bear, Tiger Sid and Sammy James.

The two kids in their new hockey costumes (half red and half blue) join them singing the song as episode one finishes.
